Dinosaur Bingo!
We will be providing a Bingo card to each Agent attendee.
The attendee can turn in the bingo card once they have gotten stamps from visiting 25 booths for one chance to Win the Grand Prize.  If the attendee visits 50 booths they get two chances to win.  The drawing for the grand prize winner will be at our Reception from 4:00-5:30pm

Triceratops Training:  We Call it Cannabis Now (3CE) - Rick Pitts, VP & General Counsel Arlington/Roe
This three hour class is designed to be an introduction to the insurance issues related to national changes in marijuana possession and use laws.  The course has a particular emphasis on examining the commercial risks, but also addresses the personal lines or / homeowner’s insurance issues.  Also, while the first part of the course is an examination of the ways in which law and risks are changing, part of the second portion of the course is an interactive, case-study examination of the coverage issues that already exist and have been decided in other states.

Taradactical Training: Cyber Security (3CE) - John Immordino, Sr. VP Professional Liability

Ransomware attacks are up 400%.  The threat actors are more sophisticated than ever and they are now asking for seven figure demands.   This course will provide agents with an understanding of the evolution of cyber ransom attacks.  We will begin by understanding how the threat actor gets into their system and then follow along to see what they do while they are there.

Rick Pitts, VP & General Counsel Arlington/Roe

Richard S. Pitts is Vice President and General Counsel to Arlington/Roe & Co., Inc., an insurance brokerage and managing general agent headquartered in Indianapolis. Rick also serves as general counsel to the Independent Insurance Agents of Indiana, Inc. As Counsel to the "Big I," Rick speaks annually at the association's Agency Compliance Seminars and teaches various seminars on insurance and employment related matters. Rick also has presented continuing education seminars to insurance professionals nationally.Rick is a 1983 graduate of Wabash College and a 1986 graduate of the Indiana University McKinney School of Law. He clerked for the Honorable Patrick D. Sullivan, a judge of the Indiana Court of Appeals in 1986-87. Rick is admitted to practice before Indiana state and federal courts, the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and is a member of local, state, and national bar associations. He has tried cases and participated in over seventy appeals.Rick has served as a panelist and lecturer on a variety of continuing education subjects, including cyber-related risks, the Americans with Disabilities Act, "Mold: Issues Under the Microscope" for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum (ICLEF), and "Insurance Issues for Builders" for the Indiana Builders Association. Rick has also served as chair of several ICLEF seminars, including "Advanced Corporate Practice," "Privacy Law," and "Insurance Coverage Issues." Rick has also presented seminars on "Insuring Fiduciary Exposures," "Insurance Coverage Disputes," and "Agency Succession and Perpetuation." He has co-authored articles appearing in the Indiana Law Review.


John Immordino, Sr. VP Professional Liability-Arlington/Roe

John rejoined Arlington/Roe in 2012 as Vice President, leading the Professional Liability department and affinity program initiatives. In 2020, he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Professional Liability. John previously worked for a large independent insurance agency in Illinois, returning to Arlington/Roe with retail agency experience. In a prior capacity at Arlington/Roe, he was a professional liability producer and the Illinois State Manager. He had also worked as a business consultant in project development, internal controls, management and marketing. John is a member of the Professional Liability Underwriter’s Society (PLUS) and participated on the Midwest Steering Committee. He was also on the IIA of Illinois Educational Committee and he is a licensed P&C agent. John received the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 2006, Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation in 2008, Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation in 2010, the Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) designation in 2014, and the Certified Programs Leader (CPL) in 2015.


Rick Morgan, Chief Marketing Officer, WAHVE

Rick, who lives in Colorado, is one of the industry’s leading marketing and branding experts and has been named by the Insurance Media Association as one of the “100 Most Powerful People in Insurance in North America.” He also received the Wade S. Dunbar Jr. Technology Advocate Award in 2019. Rick has been an underwriter, insurance agent, publisher, management consultant, sought after speaker, vendor marketing executive and association CEO. He is the co-creator of SilverPlume and has long been active in developing the capabilities of the independent agency distribution system. He has served as an ambassador for the ACORD Users Group Information Exchange (AUGIE) and a long-time participant with IIABA’s Agents Council for Technology (ACT) where he chaired ACT’s Strategic Future Issues Workgroup. He served on the board of directors of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York. He was interim CEO of Applied Client Network (formerly ASCnet)


Troy Thompson - Savvital

Troy Thompson is the Founder and President of Savvital. Savvital fortifies and scales growing companies with Virtual Professionals. Troy is an entrepreneur who also owns an independent insurance agency.​ Savvital was born from utilizing the exceptional services of Virtual Professionals at Pinnacle Insurance of MN. They have changed the game at his agency and because of them, Troy has the time to spend with his new venture. Troy is married to his beautiful wife Sarah, with 2 kids, Taytum and Tye. He loves coaching their sports teams. With a vision to help Americans with growing businesses, Troy wants to bring the world of Virtual Professionals to America.


Whitnee Dillard, InVest, IIABA

Whitnee Dillard is the executive director for Invest SM and Diversity at Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America (the Big I). She began her insurance career in 2012 as a licensed property-casualty agent, joining the Big I in 2014. Whitnee has led the development and implementation of various diversity and inclusion initiatives across the independent agency channel and serves as the staff lead to the Big I Diversity Council. She recently has also been tasked to oversee the National Invest program where leads initiatives to improve insurance literacy across student populations. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Whitnee managed multiple nonprofit programs focused on youth development and college preparation in partnership with both middle and high schools, along with the foster care and juvenile justice systems. Whitnee has received the national Big I Chairman’s Citation, Ohio Insurance Agents Citation and most recently American Property Casualty Insurance Association’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Industry Partner Award. One of her most cherished awards is the NBA’s Orlando Community Magic Maker Award for her work with youth in Central Florida. Whitnee is a graduate of the University of Michigan where she received her B.A. in psychology and political science. She also holds a certificate in diversity and inclusion from both Cornell University and the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business.


Todd Williams, TB Williams Consulting, LLC

a Diversity Equity and Inclusion consulting firm. Todd founded the consulting firm following a 30-year career in Corporate America, working for Coca- Cola, Procter and Gamble, and the Target Corporation. Todd’s experience in diversity and inclusion have been central throughout his professional career. Most notably as the Director of Target Corporation’s Diversity and Inclusion strategy for it’s headquarters and international teams, as well as the Director of Multicultural Market Segmentation where he led initiatives to cater consumer products and merchandising to Urban, Asian, African American, Hispanic, and LGBT consumer segments. Currently, Todd is co-instructing the country’s only Race, Power and Justice in Business course, that he co-created, at the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota Todd also has served as the Executive Director of the Center for Sales Leadership and Education, at the University of Minnesota. In this role Todd was responsible for helping better prepare students for a variety of sales and marketing careers, from positions in Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurial startups, and international organizations. Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and Masters in Business Communication degree from the University of St. Thomas. Todd is also an Alum of Management Leadership for Tomorrow's Career Advancement Program Todd remains active and has held numerous leadership positions within his Fraternity’s (Kappa Alpha Psi) Alumni association, as well as, serving on the executive team for the Twin Cities Diversity and Inclusion Roundtable. Previously Todd has chaired boards for the Carlson School of Management’s Undergraduate
