Big I MN is the premier provider of insurance continuing education in Minnesota. Our focus is on quality and relevancy which sets us apart from the "fast and cheap" continuing education providers. Big I MN offers over 500 classroom hours of CE a year. Additionally Big I MN is now able to offer Webinars to our members. You can now take CE without leaving your desk.

CIC

The Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation program provides an in-depth practical approach to education for insurance agents, CSRs and other insurance practitioners. CIC helps designees meet the changing needs of their clients. Participants earn their designation after taking the five institutes and passing an exam after each one.

E&O

Big I MN offers E&O courses throughout the year that can help members reduce their own agency's E&O exposure, gain continuing education credit, and earn a 10% loss control credit on their E&O policy with Swiss Re.

Ethics

Big I MN offers a number of Ethics courses that meet the state licensing requirement. These courses are offered FREE for current Big I MN members.

IA-MBA

The IA-MBA was built to provide agency owners and leaders with the foundations of a traditional MBA program but tweaked to meet your needs. Those who attend this program will leave with the management and finance skills required to grow and optimize their agency and take their careers to the next level.

CISR

The Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) program is designed for all insurance professionals to increase your knowledge of coverages, risks and exposures. Earn the CISR designation by attending five of nine available courses and passing an exam after each one. Participants can focus on a specific area, match their interests or simply diversify their learning.

CRM

The Certified Risk Managers (CRM) courses provide you with an in-depth knowledge about today’s highest priorities – identifying, analyzing, controlling, financing, and administering operational risks – as well as political risks, catastrophic loss exposures, third-party exposures, fiduciary exposures, employee injury exposures, juridical risks, legal risks, and more – whether insurable or not.

Flood

Big I MN offers flood seminars that comply with the minimum training and education requirements established by FEMA that allows insurance producer to sell flood insurance policies through the NFIP.

Webinars

A lot of topics to choose from and NO TEST or Proctor required for CE credit. MIIAB Webinars provide a convenient and cost-effective way to earn CE credit.
